purpose |
For recent development of information technology, not only computers
but portable terminals can be connected to the internet. Furthermore,
by emergence of terminals with camera or GPS, portable terminals spread
its availableness. M cubed project aims to build ubiquitous environment
by the use of portable informatino terminals like PDA or cellular
phone. It realize to support at destination place because portable
terminal is always carried by user. On the other hand, for example
resouce or processing capacity, portable terminals has problem that
we must clear.
*M cubed means "Whatever Whenever Wherever". (upside
down "W", so MMM equals M cubed)

yinterfacez
We built system that aims to support input and browse for mobile
terminal. Now, it is painful work to input to or browse terminal
because of small display or few key. On the one hand, we can available
to access to internet throw mobile terminal, but we have to make
Web site for only mobile terminal. So we propose novel input information
and present infomation style that are
- information gathering by "listen to infomation" not see infomation
- information input with camera or GPS that are built in mobile
terminal
- support to browse Web site for desktop computer on mobile terminal
ynetworkz
We propose to built ad hoc network environment where connected mobile terminals each other.
Nowadays mobiel terminals has some radio communication equipment
for example wireless LAN, infrared data communication or Bluetooth.
Some researchs about ad hoc network aim to form route from data output terminal to input terminal.
But because users move always who has terminal, network composition changes always.
That is to say, network composition changes before data transfer completed.
So in this theme we address research paying attention to certainty.
