Realizing a Video Editing System for Flipped Classrooms with AR Puppets

In this study, we develop a new video editing system for flipped classrooms with AR (Augmented Reality) technologies. We realize an AR Puppet that is an agent in AR space to help students learn by lecture videos for flipped classrooms. The system enables teachers to interact with the puppet in the lecture videos without effort because they can efficiently operate the puppet on general-purpose devices while delivering their lectures. This paper describes how to implement the AR Puppet and the video editing system on general-purpose devices.
